DHS Honors Banquet

Dexter High School recently held its annual Honors Banquet to honor the top students in each class. After a ceremony in the auditorium the students and their families went to the cafeteria for a meal catered by El Cabrito.

The following seniors were honored at the Top 10 Percent Banquet Tuesday evening, April 30: Anna Bishop, Sophie Freeman, Savannah Gourley, Eric Hahn, Brooke Hessling, Kelby Hill, Zarah Olson, Erica Parris, Coby Powers, Macy Roper, Brock Simmons, Joshua Sitzes, Emily Smith and Taylor Watson.
The following juniors were honored at the Top 10 Percent Banquet Tuesday evening, April 30: Shea Baker, Victoria Bess, Fuyu Fujii, Madilyn Hampton, Shelby Haynes, Mason Keena, Audrey Lutmer, Olivia Milam, Brice Moore, Faith Owens, Blair Rogers, AnnMarie Slaton and Madison Slaton.
The following sophomores were honored at the Top 10 Percent Banquet Tuesday evening, April 30: McKayla Annesser, Brittany Baldwin, Emily Battles, Ryder Boles, Bailey Chamberlain, Jaycee Chappell, Andrew Ellinghouse, John Fortner, Evan Grobe, Alanie Lacy, Layne Medler, Damon Stearns, Justin Viers, Tara Williams and Bronwen Young.
The following freshmen were honored at the Top 10 Percent Banquet Tuesday evening, April 30: Addyson Atherton, Sajah Ballard, Annie Banken, Kennedy Bess, Bailey Colyer, Arielle Coyner, Abigail Dement, Alyssa Frizzell, Grace Hanner, Gerica Harris, Rachel Lin, Berkley Moreland, Dulcie Pullen, Isaac Sandage, Bailey Whitaker and Mia Willams.
DHS alumni Alexis Smith was the guest speaker.
Dexter Chamber of Commerce President Alisha Trammell spoke on behalf of the chamber.
DHS Principal Alana Dowdy addresses the students.
