The Dexter Ministerial Alliance observed the 2019 National Day of Prayer at the First Christian Church Activity Building. This year's theme was "Love one another as I have loved you". John 13:34

Pastor Ron Beaton of the First United Methodist Church prayed for the Judicial System and legislators.

Rev. Mike Williams of the First Christian Church lead a prayer for the police and fire department members.

Patrick Powell of Friendship Baptist Church prayed for the men and women of the military.

Doug West of the First Church of the Nazarene prayed for educators.

Dexter Mayor Jason Banken sits in prayer during the service.

City Administrator Mark Stidham bows his head in prayer.

Jeff Roth of the Risen Church lead a prayer for local officials.

Darrin Leeman of Mile City Christian Church lead a prayer for state officials.

Local residents bow their heads in prayer during the service.

Mike Kohlbaker of First Assembly of God prayed for federal officials.

Kenneth Biggs of the First General Baptist Church lead the prayer for confession and repentance.
