The Dexter High School student body voted Puja Maisuria as the 2024 DHS Fall Homecoming queen. Maisuria was crowned before the homecoming football game vs. Sikeston on Friday.

Maisuria was nominated by the girls’ tennis team. Maisuria is a senior and the daughter of Geeta and Sam Maisuria. She is a member of student council, varsity tennis, BETA, Future Health Professionals (HOSA), Family, Career and Community Leaders of America and PEP club. After graduation, Maisuria plans to attend the University of Missouri and studying radiology.

Maisuria was escorted by Jaxon Medler. Medler is a junior and the son of Ashlee and Ryan Medler. He is a member of the Bearcat football team. When asked to describe Maisuria, Medler said, “She is vibrant, stunning and thoughtful.”

Liz Bolin was voted 2024 DHS Fall Homecoming first attendant. Bolin was nominated by the volleyball team. She is a senior and the daughter of Chris and Jennifer Bolin. Bolin plays volleyball and is a basketball cheerleader. She is also a member of the pep club,  FCCLA, BETA club, National honors society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and HOSA club. After graduation, Bolin plans to attend Arkansas State University and major in occupational therapy. 

Bolin was escorted by Houston Neely. He is a junior and the son of Jon and Leslie Neely.

Neely is on the football and baseball teams and is a member of FCA, FCCLA, Student Council, BETA, and HOSA. When asked to describe Bolin in a few words, Neely said, “She is kind, smart and pretty.”

Alexis Sisk was voted 2024 DHS Fall Homecoming second attendant. Sisk was nominated by the football team. She is a senior and the daughter of Scott and Andrea Sisk. Sisk is in FBLA, FCCLA, Beta, Pep Club, and is on the varsity cheer team. After graduation, Sisk plans to attend college and pursue a career in speech pathology.

Sisk was escorted by Caden Lee. He is a senior and the son of Ariel and Ryan Lee. He is a member of the Bearcat football and track and field teams. Lee is a member of FBLA and BETA. When asked to describe Sisk in a few words, Lee said, “She is sweet, caring and short.”

The retiring homecoming queen was Kate Churchill. Churchill is the daughter of Dan and Rhonda Churchill. She is a nursing student at Three Rivers College. Churchill is a member of the USTA, Student Nurses Association, Dexter FPC, TRC Student Leadership Academy, Phi Theta Kappa, and the TRC Honors Program.

Churchill said, “She is a proud alumni of Dexter High School and hopes to continue to serve her community after graduating college.”

Churchill was escorted by Cameron Bell. He is a senior and the son of Mendy and Christian Bell. Bell is on the Cross Country and Track and Field teams and is a member of Future Farmers of America, FCA, Student Council, Beta, National Honor Society, and Pep Club. When asked to describe Churchill, Bell said, “She is my glorious queen.”
