Elenora Louise West, daughter of the late Arl and Nola Hester Hartline, was born July 21, 1938 and went home to be with her Lord, April 17, 2020 at the Crowley Ridge Nursing Center, after a lengthy illness. She was a 81 years old and a resident of Dexter.

After graduating from Bloomfield High School in 1956, she married her high school sweetheart, Charles Leon West. Elenora was a member of the First General Baptist Church in Dexter, she was a wonderful Christian lady and was active in church until her illness.

During their marriage they lived in Malden, where Elenora worked for Artimis Manufacturing, after that she worked for her Uncle Archie at Hester Packing Company in Bernie. Her and Charles owned and operated Wilcoxsons Furniture in Malden and later Dexter. They also owned Wes-teete Shoes formerly known as Kestners Shoes, adding shoes, etc. later.

She is survived by her loving husband, Charles, of 64 years; by two sons, who were the light of her life, Kerry West and wife Sharon of Frisco, Texas and Kevin West of Dexter; and by one sister, Gertie Hartline Rodgers and family of Warrensburg, Missouri. She also was greatly loved by her West sister-in-Laws, Donna and Verna; and her nieces and nephews. Other family and friends survive her passing.

A private, family only, funeral service will be conducted at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on April 21, 2020. Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.

Memorials in her honor may be made to the organization or charity of choice.
