Linda Louise Freudenstein, age 73, died peacefully at her home in Branson, surrounded by family on April 25th.

Born Jan. 11, 1942, in Essex to Charles and Portia Ellis, she spent many years living in Port Orchard where she worked at the Kitsap County Courthouse until retiring in 1997.

Linda was a kind woman who loved her family and took pride in her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed being in the company of friends, laughter and loved to travel, notably throughout North America and Europe. She had a wonderful sense of humor and made many friends throughout her travels. Everyone who knew and loved her will miss her greatly.

She is survived by her husband, Bob Freudenstein; two sons, Andrew Lynch and wife Julie of Evergreen, Colo., Jeffrey Lynch and wife Tami of Yorktown, Va.; one daughter, Melissa Lynch-Cashbaugh and husband Christopher of Seattle, Wash.; two step-children, Delynn Grubb of Silverdale, Wash., and Jason Freudenstein and wife Shelly also of Silverdale, Wash.; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one sister, Pat Kimmel and husband Keith of Branson; one brother, W.C. Ellis of Bronson, Texas as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Portia Ellis; two infant siblings; and one sister, Barbara Merriman.

A private Celebration of Life was held on May 1, 2015, for family.
