Pearl Lizzie Doane, daughter of the late Charles M. Waller and Gertie Lee House Waller, was born on Aug. 31, 1921 in Cotton Wood, Mo., and died at the Golden Living Center in Malden, on May 27, 2013, at the age of 91.
On April 16, 1952, she was married to Raymond Doane, Sr. He preceded her in death on Oct. 15, 1986.
Mrs. Doane had been a companion aide for the Visiting Nurse Association and was a member of the Church of God in Malden.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Ray and Debbie Doane, Jr., of Bernie and one daughter and son-in-law, Joann and Bob Smithson of Malden; six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brother, Bill Waller, Dave Waller, and John Waller and two sisters, Vinnie Constant and Carrie House.
Visitation will take place Wednesday, May 29, 2013, from 6 - 8 p.m. at the Landess Funeral Home in Malden. Funeral services will be Thursday, May 30, 2013, at 2 p.m. at the Landess Funeral Home in Malden with Pastor Randy Duda officiating. Interment will follow in the Bernie Cemetery in Bernie, Mo. Landess Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.
