Lotta Mae Robins

Lotta Mae Robins, 82, of Advance, was born Dec.14,1929 at Advance, the daughter of Von and Ruth Hawkins Moyer and died Feb. 2, 2012 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Lotta Mae had been a homemaker and believed in the General Baptist faith. She had been a member of the Town and Country Extension Club.

Lotta Mae and Charles D. Robins were united in marriage on March 11, 1948 at Cape Girardeau and he survives of the home.

Other survivors include: two sons; Michael (Lura) Robins of Advance and Larry (Kristi) Robins of Advance; a daughter, Pat (Johnny) Johnson of Advance; a brother, Harley "Bud" Moyer of Cape Girardeau; eight grandchildren, Shannon Bollinger, Matthew Bollinger, Heath Robins, Adam Johnson, Amanda Ruesler, Emily Petroline, Chase Robins and Dakota Robins; three great-grandchildren, Stella Mae Ruesler, Lance Robins and Charlie Petroline. She was preceded in death by one sister, Virgina Nace; and a grandson, Lance Carlton.

Visitation was held on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, Feb. 5, 2012 at 2 p.m. at the chapel with Rev. Ray Placher officiating.

Burial will follow at Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
